Resolution Dispute Centers ( or lack there of )

It is necessary to usher in the next level of improvement to the sport of Tricking. 

One thing to keep the peace & something that others may be afraid to use is filing something called a grievance to the administrator of a business that facilitates contests, coaching & other activities within Tricking. 

Hi my name is David & I am basically the only person in the world to be talking about these issues, and my focus is on helping to make the sport better for the future generations by studying, understanding and advocating for change - just here doin' ma thing investigating Tricking ! 

I'd say most people fear something called "retaliation" which is basically what happens when you bring up an issue that could oppose the ideology of someone who is in a position of power in the training or competitive space. If there is unacceptable or inappropriate behaviour or if you witnessed something and simply need a neutral party ( most business owners are responsible for the safety of their patrons ) having a form easily accessible either online or in person is one great way. 

I'm sure every country is going to be different and certain cultures may have variations of practices, but all fundamentally do the same thing - protecting the rights and respecting the dignity & needs of every individual that is on the premises and intends to benefit from the environment. 

Tricking, even 25 years later, is still a relatively unregulated sport - it's really up to all of us to do our part individually moderating our own behaviour but the sport is competitive - people want to have fun also, and some times things get out of hand. 

There needs to be people who assert control & protect the rules. Also, I think this could make a new job & career opportunity in the industry. It could possibly bring down insurance, and who knows, you might be able to catch issues and rectify them before they grow out of control. 

Some organizations benefit from wrong-doing, but we need to show the parents, the public, sponsors, guests, newcomers & everyone that the space has a place where rightful activity decision making take place. 

Also, it takes a bit of courage, because you could be up against people who are ruthless, but anyone who is honourable would accept the logic that it's necessary to communicate boundaries and to respect them - even though Tricking is generally pretty crazy and people go wild. Don't bottle up your issues, and don't be discouraged just because things may be corrupt - advocate for yourself, or defend others and do the right thing !
