As a 90's baby, probably one of the most Canadian experiences you could have .. was watching TV and seeing these commercials as a kid.
I don't know if they make them anymore, but one thing that really connects me to my roots and culture .. is this.
I'd like to say Thank You to the pioneers who came before me, as I've come to understand why society exists and what the system is intended to do and prevent.
As someone who is susceptible to making poor choices or associating with those that do, we require that extra bit of support and pull to remind us which side of society we need to be on. There is a right side of history.
One day I may have children of my own, and I can imagine if I were a parent the safety I would want for my children. Education is essential.
If you didn't know why Canada is awesome, or, if you needed the reminder. We're not perfect, but at least some of us are trying.
